Terms of Service
Last updated: 2 July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at https://robustdevs.co (the "Site") and any related services, tools, or content we make available (together, the "Services") provided by Robust Devs Ltd, trading as Robust Devs ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing the Site or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Services.
1. WHO WE ARE
Robust Devs is a software engineering agency. We build and ship production software for funded startups, primarily in marketing, healthtech, and fintech. The Site describes our capabilities, publishes articles and case studies, and hosts free self-service tools such as estimators and readiness checks. These Terms cover your use of that public Site and those tools. Paid engagements , where we design, build, or maintain software for you, are governed by a separate written contract, statement of work, or master services agreement signed by both parties, which takes precedence over these Terms wherever the two overlap.
Company details. Robust Devs Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. Our company registration number and registered office address are published on our About page and are on public record at Companies House.
2. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCEPTABLE USE
You may use the Services only if you can form a legally binding contract with us and only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. The Services are intended for business and professional use, not for use by children. You agree that you will not:
- use the Services in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation, or that is fraudulent, deceptive, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, the server on which the Site is stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to the Site;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measures, except with our prior written permission;
- introduce viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful;
- scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Site, or use automated means to place undue load on our infrastructure, without our prior written consent; or
- reproduce, duplicate, copy, or resell any part of the Services in a way that competes with us or breaches these Terms.
We may suspend or withdraw access to all or part of the Services at any time, and we may report suspected breaches of law to the relevant authorities and cooperate with those authorities.
3. FREE TOOLS, ESTIMATES, AND INFORMATIONAL CONTENT
The Site hosts free self-service tools, for example cost estimators, technical readiness checks, and compliance stance builders, alongside articles, guides, and case studies. This content is provided for general information only.
Not professional advice. Nothing on the Site constitutes legal, financial, medical, regulatory, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 are complex and fact-specific; any material we publish about them is a starting point for a conversation, not a certification, legal opinion, or guarantee of compliance.
Estimates are indicative. Any figure, cost estimate, timeline, or score generated by a tool on the Site is an automated, indicative output based on the inputs you provide. It is not a quote, a proposal, or a binding offer, and it does not create any contract between us. A binding scope and price is only ever set out in a signed statement of work. We make no promise that any estimate will match the eventual cost or duration of real work.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter into our tools and for independently verifying any output before relying on it.
4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
We (or our licensors) own all intellectual property rights in the Site and in the content we publish on it, including text, graphics, logos, the "Robust Devs" name and brand, page layouts, and the design and code of our free tools. These rights are protected by law, and all such rights are reserved.
You may view, download, and print pages from the Site for your own internal reference and evaluation. You must not modify our content, use it for any commercial purpose without our written permission, or remove any copyright or proprietary notices. Where you submit content to us, for example inputs into a tool or a message through a contact form, you retain ownership of that content, but you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use it as needed to operate the Services and respond to you.
Ownership of intellectual property created during a paid engagement (for example the code and deliverables we build for you) is dealt with in the separate written contract for that work, not in these Terms.
5. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, and resources, and may rely on third-party infrastructure (for example hosting, analytics, and scheduling providers). Those links and services are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of any third-party site or service, and a link does not imply our endorsement. Your use of a third party's site or service is governed by that third party's own terms and privacy policy.
6. AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES TO THE SERVICES
We provide the Site free of charge and do not guarantee that it, or any content on it, will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may suspend, withdraw, or restrict the availability of all or any part of the Site for business or operational reasons, and we may update, change, or remove content, including free tools, at any time without notice. We are not liable to you for any such change or unavailability.
7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content and tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the content or any tool output is accurate, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the laws of England and Wales.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the public Site or its free tools, or your reliance on any content or automated estimate published on it. This includes any indirect or consequential loss, and any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or data. Our liability in connection with any paid engagement is governed exclusively by the signed contract for that work.
9. INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or your infringement of any law or of any third party's rights in connection with your use of the Site.
10. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, our Services, or our business practices. The version in force is the one published on this page, and the "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Your continued use of the Services after we publish revised Terms means you accept the changes. We recommend that you review this page periodically.
11. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have as a consumer to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
12. GENERAL
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that right or provision. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any signed engagement contract, make up the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services.
