Why this stack
We optimise for productivity-per-engineer at our team size: 15 to 20 senior people. That number is the whole reason this list is short. A small, deep team moves fastest when everyone shares the same tools, so we'd rather go deep on a handful of stacks than spread thin across a dozen.
Every stack here earned its place on the same criteria: a TypeScript-first developer experience, a clear scaling story, and a mature ecosystem we can lean on instead of reinventing. Next.js, NestJS, React Native, Python, and Postgres all clear that bar; and they compose cleanly into the AI products our buyers actually ask us to build.
We deliberately avoid stack proliferation. Every engineer at Robust Devs knows every stack on this page, which means any one of us can pick up any part of a build without a ramp-up tax. That's a feature for you: there's no single point of failure on your project, and no “only one person understands this service” risk.

Deep expertise beats wide coverage
What we avoid
We'd rather be honest about what we don't lead with than pretend to be everything to everyone.
- Vue / AngularReact's ecosystem fit better for the AI products we ship.
- PHP / LaravelDifferent problem space: we focus on AI products, not classic CMS or e-commerce.
- Ruby on RailsStrong framework, just not our team's depth.
- GoExcellent for specific high-throughput cases; we'd subcontract or partner if a project required it.
- .NET / C#Enterprise stack: we serve startups, a different motion.
- Unity / UnrealGame engines: not our positioning.
