That count covers every scoped, delivered engagement: product builds, audits, sprints, and rescue work across direct clients and marketplace platforms; the case studies on this site are the public subset. That volume teaches you something you can't learn from a single project: what actually breaks at scale. The schema decision that looks fine at 1,000 users and falls over at 100,000. The integration that works in the demo and corrupts data in production. We've seen enough of these to build around them from day one.

The "AI agency" market is full of ChatGPT wrappers: thin prompt layers dressed up as products. We're an engineering shop, not a chatbot consultancy. Most of the hard work sits outside the model call, in the data pipelines, auth, billing, observability, and infrastructure that turn an AI demo into something a funded company can sell.

We limit ourselves to three industries: marketing, healthtech and fintech. Depth beats breadth. A HIPAA-aware delivery posture, payment compliance experience, and knowledge of marketing data mean we start ahead instead of learning on your budget. We say no to work outside these verticals more often than we say yes.

We charge a fixed price for productized work like the Tech Audit, and we scope everything else honestly. No padded estimates, no surprise change orders engineered into the contract. If a project is smaller than you think, we tell you. Founder-led delivery means the person setting that scope is the person accountable for it.

Why accountability stays close to the code, the scope, and the client relationship.
Before Robust Devs, Tayyab spent years building and shipping production software for other people's companies, close enough to the code to see where agency work cuts corners and what that costs the founders left holding the result. He kept meeting the same founder: funded, moving fast, and stuck with a codebase a previous agency had left half-finished.
In 2019 he started Robust Devs to do it differently: a senior-only team, founder-led delivery, and an honest line between what's a productized fixed-price offer and what needs to be scoped properly. The bet was that funded founders would rather talk to the person accountable for the work than a sales team. Today that's a UK-registered company with an engineering team in Lahore and 180+ products shipped behind it.
What drives him now is shipping production-grade software for founders who've been burned by agencies before: turning AI demos into systems that survive real users and real data. He still scopes and stands behind every engagement personally.
