We've shipped 180+ products since 2019. That count covers every scoped, delivered engagement: product builds, audits, sprints, and rescue work across direct clients and marketplace platforms; the case studies on this site are the public subset. That volume teaches you something you can't learn from a single project: what actually breaks at scale. The schema decision that looks fine at 1,000 users and falls over at 100,000. The integration that works in the demo and corrupts data in production. We've seen enough of these to build around them from day one.

The "AI agency" market is full of ChatGPT wrappers: thin prompt layers dressed up as products. We're an engineering shop, not a chatbot consultancy. Most of the hard work sits outside the model call, in the data pipelines, auth, billing, observability, and infrastructure that turn an AI demo into something a funded company can sell.

We scope every engagement honestly and publish no standing price. No padded estimates, no surprise change orders engineered into the contract. If a project is smaller than you think, we tell you. Founder-led delivery means the person setting that scope is the person accountable for it.

Every engagement opens with a written review of what you have and a plan for what to build next. A senior engineer reads what exists, or the plan if nothing exists yet, and hands back a decision with the reasons attached. It is the first step of every project, and the build starts from a plan both sides have read and agreed.

Senior engineers only
We do not staff juniors on client work. A second senior engineer reviews each pull request before it merges, and a Tech Lead reports to you every week.

The founder scopes the work
Tayyab Hanif, our founder, scopes each engagement himself and stays accountable for it. You will not meet a sales team first, and the person who quoted your project is the one you call if it slips.

A fixed price before anyone writes code
Discovery takes one to two weeks and ends with a scoped roadmap and a fixed-price quote. If you want something new halfway through, we scope and price it as a separate change request, so you can still read the original budget at the end.

You own the code as it lands
We sign the IP assignment at kickoff, and ownership passes to you as each piece of work lands. At no point have you paid for code you do not own yet.

Compliance built in from week one
We have shipped HIPAA-architected healthcare products, and we sign BAAs, DPAs and NDAs. We put access control, encryption and audit logging in early, because retrofitting them the month before a SOC 2 or HIPAA review costs far more.

Why accountability stays close to the code, the scope, and the client relationship.
Before Robust Devs, Tayyab spent years building and shipping production software for other people's companies, close enough to the code to see where agency work cuts corners and what that costs the founders left holding the result. He kept meeting the same founder: funded, moving fast, and stuck with a codebase a previous agency had left half-finished.
In 2019 he started Robust Devs to do it differently: a senior-only team, founder-led delivery, and an honest line between what's a productized fixed-price offer and what needs to be scoped properly. The bet was that funded founders would rather talk to the person accountable for the work than a sales team. Today that's a UK-registered company with an engineering team in Lahore and 180+ products shipped behind it.
What drives him now is shipping production-grade software for founders who've been burned by agencies before: turning AI demos into systems that survive real users and real data. He still scopes and stands behind every engagement personally.

How Robust Devs works
You deal with the same small group of people from the first call to launch. Your project manager is your day-to-day contact, the Tech Lead answers the technical questions, and Tayyab joins a monthly check-in and takes anything that needs escalating.

Discovery, one to two weeks. A senior engineer reviews what you already have, or the plan if nothing exists yet, maps the user flows and writes up the risks. You get a scoped roadmap and a fixed-price quote before the build starts.

Design, one to three weeks. Wireframes and a clickable prototype, made alongside engineering, so the screens you approve are the screens we ship.
- 03
Build, in two-week sprints. We ship features as working slices with tests, and CI/CD runs from the first week. The standup happens in your Slack, and each Friday you get a recorded demo with release notes.

Launch and handover. Before go-live we load test and run a security review. You get the live product, an ops runbook and 30 days of support, with the option to move onto a retainer.
A mid-sized project runs 8 to 14 weeks end to end. For as long as we work together, anything critical gets a response within 24 hours. The process page has each stage in more detail.
