Comparisons

Buying engineering services is hard because almost nobody publishes what things cost or admits who they are wrong for. These pages do both: every third-party figure is read from the source, dated, and linked, and each one says plainly where a competitor is the better choice.

Why funded teams pick us

01

Fixed-price code audit services

Seven providers, entry prices from $49 to $15,000, every figure read from the vendor’s own pricing page and dated. What each tier actually buys, and where we genuinely are not the right call.

02

Technical due diligence providers

Who reviews a startup codebase before a funding round, from $500 to $9,500 — and the question price doesn’t answer: whether anyone reads the code or only interviews the team.

03

Audit, refactor or rebuild?

Five paths for an existing codebase, not the usual two — and the four signals that genuinely justify starting again, rather than the feeling that the code is bad.

04

Who fixes AI-built apps?

Services built specifically for apps made with Lovable, Bolt, Cursor and Replit, from $49 to $999 — and an honest note that we are the most expensive option on that page.

How we write these

Every price or claim about another company is read from that company’s own page, recorded with the date it was read, and linked so you can check it. Nothing is quoted second-hand from a summary or a directory. Where we could not verify a provider’s pricing first-hand, we leave them out and say so rather than repeating a figure we have not seen.

We include ourselves, at our real position rather than pinned to the top, and we name the situations where a competitor is the better buy. A comparison that always concludes “choose us” is an advertisement wearing a table.

Providers change pricing without warning. We re-check every table quarterly, and each figure carries the date it was last confirmed so you can see for yourself how fresh it is.
