• How much do engagements cost?+

  The Tech Audit is the only engagement with a public price: $499 for a 5-day diagnostic. We scope and price the other engagement models after a short intro call based on your team size, timeline, and product.

• Why is only the Tech Audit priced publicly?+

  We publish the Tech Audit price because it has one fixed deliverable: an architecture report and risk register in 5 days. We scope each other engagement against your requirements, which reduces the risk of overruns.

• What is the billing cadence for longer engagements?+

  Embedded Squad and Retainer are billed monthly in advance. Project Build uses milestone billing, typically three invoices: kickoff, midpoint delivery, and final delivery. We send statements on the 1st of each month; payment terms are 14 days.

• Can we switch engagement model mid-project?+

  Yes, with notice. Moving from a Project Build to an Embedded Squad (or the reverse) is common as a product evolves. It requires a re-scoping conversation and a new statement of work. We prefer to flag transitions 2–3 weeks before the end of the current engagement so there's no gap in delivery.

• What is your refund or cancellation policy?+

  Tech Audit: full refund within 24 hours of payment if the engagement hasn't started. Embedded Squad and Retainer: 30 days written notice ends the engagement; the final month is billed in full. Project Build: milestones already delivered are non-refundable; work not yet started can be paused by mutual agreement.
