• Do you build the video yourselves or use a vendor?+

  It depends on your requirements. For most platforms we build on a HIPAA-tier vendor: Twilio Video, Zoom Healthcare, Vonage, or Daily.co, because they solve global routing and reliability out of the box under a Business Associate Agreement. Where you need full control of the media path, we can stand up a self-hosted WebRTC stack instead, and we’ll tell you honestly which trade-off fits your budget and scale.

• Can you support async (store-and-forward) as well as live visits?+

  Yes. Many virtual care flows don’t need a live call. A photo, a questionnaire, and a provider’s async review is enough, and it’s often better for both throughput and access. We architect the platform so synchronous video and async messaging share the same triage, scheduling, documentation, and EHR write-back, rather than being two separate products bolted together.

• How do you handle cross-state provider licensure?+

  We build licensure-aware matching: a provider’s licensed states are part of their profile, and the scheduling and routing engine only offers a patient a provider licensed in the patient’s state, with geofencing on the patient side. The engineering is ours. Which states you operate in and the practice-of-medicine rules remain your clinical and legal team’s call.

• Can patients get prescriptions through the platform?+

  Yes. We integrate e-prescribing via Surescripts or DoseSpot so a provider can send a prescription to the patient’s pharmacy at the end of a visit. Controlled substances add EPCS and Ryan Haight / DEA telemedicine requirements. We architect the EPCS flow and safety controls, but the prescribing policy and DEA determination stay with your medical director and regulatory counsel.

• Can you write visits back to our EHR?+

  Yes. Visit summaries, structured notes, and orders write back to Epic, Cerner / Oracle Health, Athenahealth, and eClinicalWorks over FHIR R4 and HL7 v2.x, so the virtual visit lands in the same chart as in-person care. If your EHR exposes an integration path we can wire it in. If it doesn’t, we’ll tell you the honest workaround.
